Durham County RFU Story of the Month competition in partnership with Newcastle 2019 - Success

Durham County RFU teamed up with Newcastle 2019 back in September 2018 to give away 20 free tickets each month to the European Challange Cup Finals. All you needed to do, was send us your stories!

From September 2018 to April 2019, Durham County have been recieving stories from Clubs, Schools, Referees and Coaches relfecting the core values of Rugby. Each month we had the hard decision of chosing one of these stories to be named our winner!

Well done to the following teams who have been named a winner and therefore attended the Newcastle 2019 European Challenge Cup Final on 10th May, to read the full stories click on the links below:

A massive thank you to everyone who submitted a story to us, Durham County RFU are very proud to see the good work that goes on in Clubs, Schools and Communities. The Rugby core values are imbedded throughout the County!

We would also like to thank Newcastle Falcons for investing in this scheme, with the support of Newcastle 2019 the event was a success with all 8 teams enjoying seats at a European Challenge Cup Final.
