Returning to Rugby during COVID-19 – advice from DCRFU

Safeguarding advice and requirements for Durham County RFU Clubs returning to Rugby training as per the RFU guidelines and regulations


See below the key points raised by our Safeguarding Officer; Paul Geehan


1. Training cannot commence until a Risk Assessment is completed by coaching staff and signed and approved by club management/board/committee have also signed and authorised the restart.


2. Each player must also read and understand the risk assessment and sign a copy to be held by the club safeguarding officer.
