Durham County RFU Schools Union YMO Programme, Sponsored by Vic Young (South Shields) Ltd

Durham are proud to announce that they will be partnering with Vic Young Motors’ to bring you the Schools’ YMO programme.

What is it?

The Durham Young Match Officials Programme offers school pupils a pathway into officiating rugby union at schools’ festivals and cup competitions. As part of the programmes, pupils will either complete their England Rugby Referee Qualification (15 a-side game) or the Quilter Kids First Refereeing Qualification (U9-13). This programme also creates a route into refereeing for the Durham County Referee’s Society.

How to get involved?

You can get involved by getting your schools to firstly, sign up to become a member of the schools’ union (Link to previous page about signing up). Secondly, you can get in touch via email to express your interest in the programme
