U18 Boys 2022-23 County Nominations Now Open

It is that time of year again for clubs and schools to nominate players for this years u18 County Program.

As in previous years we are looking for players who stand out in the club or school and she you feel can take the step up to represent Durham County.

We continue to use the Game sense, Attitude, Skillset and Physical potential (GASP) criteria to identify our squad and would ask that you ensure your nominated players have at least two of these attributes.

This years format is similar to the pre-covid years where we will be returning to a festival format with three games being held in Durham, Cumbria and Cheshire between December and January.

The key dates that you need to be aware of and as in previous years need to be available for if selected are:

30/10th - Assessment Day

6/11th Devlopment Day

4/12th Festival 1 (Durham to host)

18/12th Festival 2 (Cumbria to host)

8/1st Festval 3 (Cheshire to host)

There will also be midweek training session prior to each of the games.

We will accept nominations based on the above criteria from players eligible to play Colts rugby, this covers both u17 and u18 age groups. Here is the link for nominations:

Nominations need to be in by the the 21st of October and no entries will be accepted after this date.
