The RFU are launching a new way of working for our RFU staff, hosting a series of ‘Local Engagement sessions’ across the country. The most local for our Durham clubs is at Darlington RFC, on the 2nd February. This has been communicated in the CGU last week (Link below), and we’re asking club volunteers to register their interest via the link in the Community Game Update (CGU).
The local engagement sessions are focused on connecting clubs with RFU staff working both regionally and nationally. They will focus on practical support around current, topical issues. There are more complete details in the CGU itself but we’re asking people to tell us, which topics they’re most interested in when they register, so we can ensure the right expertise is available in each session.
The RFU hope that gathering clubs together will give us all (RFU staff & CB vols), a good opportunity to further identify club needs and work on solutions accordingly.
