DPP Update October 2021
Now that the DPP is back running I am conscious that there will be players who have developed over the last 18 months and who need to be looked at in the DPP environment. To that end there will be the opportunity to nominate up to 2 players who meet the criteria for involvement on the Pathway. Please consider the players you may already have involved and only nominate players who you genuinely feel need to be reviewed. It has also been decided that clubs can nominate up 2 front row players as an additional allocation for the Pathway. The Closing date for nominations is the 29th October and players will be invited to take part in the area sessions taking place on the 21st November In the coming weeks the coaches in each centre will be reviewing the players who are currently involved and some may be released back to their clubs with feedback as to what areas they need to work on.

I would like to thank Durham County RFU especially David Hill for the consideration for not notifying the Under 20's coaching team who have worked tremendously hard over the past seasons to put the Under 20's back on the map.
The fact that I had to find out 3rd hand that the nomination process was even underway was a insult in its self is bad enough but not having the decency to make contact with myself so I can chat to the rest of the coaching team ( ex)regarding the process just speaks volumes of the type of people you are.
