Durham University Women's Rugby Programme
We, on behalf of Durham University are seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Head Coach to lead the Women’s Rugby programme, specifically the 1st team performance squad.
The main duties for the role will include;
Coaching the performance squad, including training and preparing for BUCS.
Attending three 1.5 hour train sessions per week at Durham University and working with Team Durham’s S&C coach.
The delivery of both individual and small group technical/tactical development sessions.
To review and analyse performance of both Durham and opposition teams.
To be a motivated individual with good practical and communiation skills who works well as part of a team.
To have passion, dedication and enthusiasm for developing womens rugby on both a university level and a universal level.
This role is a great opportunity for any coach(es) to develop their profile and CV at a higher level. The role would work on a voluntary basis though further discussion on this matter can be considered. Of course, any appointment will need to be approved by DU, with further successful candidates complying with safeguarding, COVID-19 regulations and conditions.
