The Eddie Jones’ side will play their third International test match in the heart of Newcastle at the over 52,000 capacity stadium, St James’ Park.

The match against Italy will be the final of the four warm up matches for the England side, before heading out to Tokyo, ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Preparations will also see the side travel to Cardiff (Saturday August, 17) and play host to Ireland (Saturday August, 24) and Wales (Saturday August, 11) at their home ground, Twickenham.

This will be the first England International fixture in Newcastle, but one of a collection of times that rugby has taken over the city.

Fans and spectators from all over the country, and Italy can expect a warm and welcoming match in the North East with a small chance of sunshine, but prospect for an entertaining and enjoyable visit.

England Head Coach, Eddie Jones said: “Newcastle will be a fantastic host, and we will look forward to playing in front of a great northern crowd.”

The match will take place in just 366 days, on Friday September, 6 2019 at St James’ Park, 19;45pm KO.

Tickets will go on sale later in the year, but you can guarantee to see the game televised on Sky Sports.
